Whether you are someone with cancer or someone close to you has cancer, it can be very helpful to talk with others in a similar situation who will understand what you are going through. Support from others who understand can help to improve your ability to cope, your ability to feel more in control over your situation and give you a sense of hope.

January is Cervical Health Awareness Month

According to The American Cancer Society, Cervical cancer used to be one of the most common causes of death for American women. Over the past 30 years, the number of cervical cancer deaths has decreased by more than 50%. The main reason for this decrease is that women are receiving regular Pap tests. Usually there are no symptoms associated with early cervical cancers and pre-cancers.

Our road to success is under construction beginning January 5, 2016

Montgomery Cancer Center’s Montgomery location will begin a renovation of our main entrance on January 5, 2016. This includes the main driveway off Carmichael Road and main entrance to the building. Construction is expected to be completed in April 2016.


The improvements included are as follows:


• A new canopy will be installed to cover two cars side-by-side in our patient
