Baptist Health Mission

As a witness to the love of God through Jesus Christ, Baptist Health exists as a voluntary, not-for-profit organization to promote and improve the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of the people and communities it serves through the delivery of quality health care services provided within a framework of fiscal responsibility.

Outreach

The Driving HOPE Program is anchored by two mobile cancer screening units and is designed to increase Health, Outreach, Prevention, and Education in our community. 'HOPE' is a 37-foot mobile cancer screening clinic complete with an onboard private clinical exam room, laboratory draw area, and educational space.  'JOY' is a 24-foot state-of-the-art mobile mammography unit that provides screening mammography services to patrons. Both units are staffed by Montgomery Cancer Center and Baptist Health professionals with excellent clinical expertise.

The Driving HOPE team works innovatively to increase healthcare accessibility and educate the public on cancer screenings and prevention, with a focus on serving rural and low-income residents in Central Alabama. Events are scheduled year-round at various locations, so be on the lookout for the 'HOPE' and 'JOY' units in your community!
